Awesome or Failure

On this page I will add new products that I taste, and let you know if I think that product is awesome, or is in fact a failure.

3. PB & J Krimpets from Tastykake

The Peanut Butter is on the top, and the Jelly is in the middle. The deliciousness is everywhere….

2. Pringles Select Bold Crunch

They are like little Pringles, except they are extremely crunchy. Imagine if you crossed regular Pringles with Tostitos gold chips. The flavors they come in: Cheddar Jack, Jalapeno Ranch, Southwestern BBQ, Honey Chipotle BBQ, Parmesan Garlic, Szechuan BBQ, Sun Dried Tomato, and Cinnamon Sweet Potato. Those flavors are better than original Pringles.

The two I tried so far are Southwestern BBQ (amazing), and Parmesan Garlic (pretty darn good).

1. New Fresca flavors Peach Citrus and Black Cherry Citrus

3. Cadbury Orange Creme Eggs

Cadbury thought that  their creme eggs needed a new flavor. Orange was not the correct choice. Blech.

2. Advance Food Products LLC has entered a licensing agreement with Jelly Belly to make Jelly Belly flavored pudding snacks. I was “lucky” enough to stumble upon 3 of the flavors at National Wholesale Liquidators as they were going out of business. I paid 9 cents for the 4 packs of pudding, and can’t get over the feeling that I, in fact, may have overpaid. Having been to the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, CA. I can’t believe that they would let someone taint their product like this.

The flavors I tried were green apple, bubble gum, and very cherry. They also come in packs of peach, watermelon, and blueberry.  I think it’s safe to say that this was the worst pudding I’ve ever had in my life, and it is a stretch to call these products food at all. I bet it is already off of store shelves, even though this line of products just rolled out in January.

1. Limited edition cherry flavored M&M’s.

= Blech. Cherries are awesome, M&M’s are awesome, but the combination was just terrible. Luckily I only paid 19c for the bag, but I still feel like I gto ripped off.  They aren’t even listed as a product on the M&M website, because they are so embarrassed to call it their product. Maybe the new M&M almonds idea will go better.

Its surprising b/c cherry and chocolate often go so well together. Though, I do enjoy the clever design of the bag…o red m&m, always getting into trouble.
